Not sure if I will be up to updating my review for Angel Eyes, [cause yeah, it is taxing.. lol and I just want to enjoy the drama] but for now I wrote my impression about the first 2 episodes of the drama. I hope to follow it up if not regularly then at least just to update.

Lee Min Ho meets with president Park Geun Hye

Lee Min Ho met with president Park Geun Hye.

Often named as the star to have ignited the new Korean Wave, Lee Min Ho attended the 3rd Presidential Committee for Cultural Enrichment conference on April 4 to speak on the topic of ‘Success Strategy for Hallyu Wave.’

The conference was attended by the chairman and the members of Presidential Committee for Cultural Enrichment, who discussed the future plans for developing content markets, and Lee Min Ho, the only entertainer to was invited to the conference, shared his own suggestions for Korean Wave's future direction based on his experiences.

One of the officials who planned the event said, “Korean Wave that was triggered in Japan with drama 'Winter sonata' has now spread to the Greater China Region, and it is expanding endlessly. We decided to invite Lee Min Ho because we judged him to be the originator of the new Korean Wave and carries both representative and symbolic traits of the entertainment industry.”

As the conference was hosted by the head of the state, and was held in a location outside of the Blue House, the invitation has been kept as a classified secret for security reasons.

A representative of Lee Min Ho's management agency said, "President Park has emphasized on cultural enrichment during her inaugural speech last year, and as an individual who is engaged in entertainment business, I believe that further spread of Korean wave will not only bring infinite amount of profits to Korean economy, but it also will raise the value of Korea's brand image.

Meanwhile, Lee Min Ho will start casting in a new film called 'Gangnam Blues' from this month.
