“City Hunter” has become one of the most anticipated dramas of 2011; and so far, it does not disappoint. Actor Lee Min Ho has shown his passion towards acting by working hard to perfect all aspects of his Lee Yoon Sung. For several months even before filming for “City Hunter” began, he received martial arts and gunnery training. Recently, his management agency, StarHaus Entertainment, revealed that Lee Min Ho gifted the drama’s crew with walking shoes for all their hard work and dedication.
A representative of StarHaus stated, “Lee Min Ho has been thinking about ways to show the staff his gratitude for some time. He decided on comfortable walking shoes because they [the crew] are always on their feet day and night filming nonstop.”
Lee Min decided on FILA’s Bubble Run walking shoes, a functional and highly comfortable walking shoe designed to alleviate foot pressures. The crew behind the magic of “City Hunter” have been very appreciative of his gifts and stated, “While the filmings are tiring and gruesome at times, we’re very grateful of Lee Min Ho’s cheerful attitude. He definitely livens up everyone’s spirits on set.”
“City Hunter” is based on the popular Japanese manga by Hojo Tsukasa and is the manga’s first drama adaptation. Lee Min Ho plays Lee Yoon Sung, a MIT PH. D. graduate who works in the Blue House National Communications Team to spy on the President and his advisors. His ultimate goal is to hunt down the “group of five” who were responsible for his biological father’s (Park Sang Min) unjust death. The drama also stars Park Min Young, Lee Joon Hyuk, and KARA’s Goo Hara. “City Hunter” airs every Wednesday-Thursday night on SBS at 9:55PM KST.
